Zimbabwe, Saturday 3 June 2006 - On the road again, further south, totally against the north route
|
We have now saluted Bulawayo and Trondheim Palace farewell and are on our way to the next destination which is Mozambique. Normally that is a distance that we could have managed in one day, but who knows, there might be some site or people that are worth while stopping for. The plan though, is to be able to shop with Meticals on Monday (at least). As I have stated before, Zimbabwe is definitely a destination to consider if you spend time going a bit off the normal track and avoid the commercial hotels (and hostels). Because of some problems with my GPS I was playing around with the thought of travelling down to Johannesburg for a couple of days to sort that out. Thanks to some clever hands and a good variety of spare tools, we managed to fix it ourselves, so sorry guys ... see you in 2010 when Norway plays against Zimbabwe in the World Cup semi-finals. |
