Beautiful May in beautiful Zambia... In the slideshow from Zambia, it says "Beautiful Zambia" and its a good description. Jomar was still travelling with us (on partly terrible roads) and we welcomed a second co-pilot, Pernille, who joined us for a week of joy and excitement.

What will stand out from this month is of course the experiment with 3 persons in Betsy, but also having to time to see so much of Zambia that we did. We went to faraway places, almost got lost in the jungle, national parks, visiting people in the country side and met old and got new friends.

Then the arrival into Mkuleko and Robert Mugabe's troubled country, Zimbabwe. This country will be remembered (so far) as the country with the best experiences and also the worst. The best; the people of course. especially in the countryside. The relaxing days at Binga was exceptionally nice. And then the contrasts from the rural poverty to a luxury week at Trondheim Palace in Bulawayo, what can you say? I mentioned the worst, and that was my first "robbery" and my first puncture (caused by someone stabbing my tire with a knife).
