Zambia, Tuesday 16 May 2006 - The book project is still going strong and we met Mondiya

I have to admit that there is a slight emptiness after Jomar and Pernille left me on Monday, but I try my best NOT to be affected by that :-) Jomar's company after almost six weeks will be missed, but I have to figure out where the tools and parts are myself now that he is not around to answer questions.

Betsy and myself stayed two days at Lucy's place after I found a school and a very nice principal that could help me interview a kid for the book project. Lucy was very helpful and spent the day with me and a lovely girl, Mondiya. She totally melted my professionalism and I decided to include her into the "goodwill project". She recently lost her father and came from a one parent household that was very poor. So we helped her with clothes, schoolbooks and stationary. With the help of the first donor, Olaug Auset (my mother, supporter and secretary) we did some goodwill and we are sure she will appreciate it very much.
