Monday 15 May was the D-day for my travelling companions. They were going to the northern hemisphere and taking on celebrating our independence day. To translate what we really do when we celebrate would make you wonder what kind of folk we are, but we say "we walk in train"...meaning we are parading. We actually call it the Children's Day, while those are the ones attending the parade. We have traveled together now for one week and the experience being three is nothing but positive. Our trips highlight was the visit in a rural village where we camped in the head mans yard. Meeting people so far away from towns and shops are really a great experience and recommend that to everyone, especially spoiled kids from rich environments. They should really meet these wonderful people and feel and see how they live and how they manage their daily life and duties. It makes you wonder and it makes you think AND care. |
