Zambia 9 May 2006 - First female co-pilot arrives into Betsy's sphere...

I dont know how she will take it, Betsy that is! She has now been the only LADY so far on this expedition and now she got competition. Pernille arrived on Sunday the 7th May and she will be joining us the next eight days.

As this is Jomar's wife, Betsy should not feel bad at all, she is just complementing the crew, as she should know that there is nobody that could take her away from my heart. The first three days will be spent in Livingstone, before heading north to Lusaka and into Kafue north OR Luangwa south. We are still doing some research on the road network and also density of scrub, bushes and animals. One thing is for sure, we are heading north. In Lusaka we will be meeting Ruth and Robert (hopefully) and make up for some long lost friendship. They might provide us with some up to date information on where to go next. On Monday we visited the falls (se picture above) and the waterfalls gave an impressive experience as it is flooding with spectacular scenic views this time of year.
