April, co-pilot Jomar's month. This month was going to be a test on how well I would function together with my uncle Jomar Fjelnset. I have not had the pleasure of knowing him that well, as I spent most of my adult life outside my hometown, where Jomar work and live.

Well, it was nothing to be afraid of. Jomar was a first class co-pilot, he became Betsy's best friend and even though the age difference, we became very good friends as well.

Thinking of all the work he did on Betsy, makes me wonder if this was a vacation for Jomar, but I guess this is the way he was brought up, and its far too late to change his lifestyle now. I am sure he enjoyed every minute of struggle, challenge and trouble we encountered during these weeks together. Although he was furious about the road standard in Zambia, I think he will remember it as something "terribly fun", which is going to last for a long long time.

We travelled three countries together and met a lot of interesting people, we remember well the farmer in Namibia with the troubled tractor, Lucy in Zambia and all the other friends we made during our adventures.
