Zambia 26 April 2006 - Betsy's second journey with the Kazungula Ferry Service

Ok Sharon, where are you? I really need some money right now!!! :-) Last year, Betsy and my self went up to Victoria Falls on a test trip for a few days and therefore this ferry trip is Betsys second over the Zambezi river. Like the previous trip, I am furious about the taxes one has to pay to visit Zambia, as if they hated visitors. Well, it didn't stop me from coming again, so I guess they know what they are doing. The drive from Kasane was just a few kilometres and we met a queue of about 100 trucks waiting to cross the river. Luckily Betsy is not an 18 wheeler, so we squeezed ourselves in behind a big truck. Its nice to be back in Zambia, suddenly you feel so rich. Withdrawing half a million Kwatcha might have something to do with that feeling.
