Namibia 1 April 2006 - And then we are in big trouble, so close to civilisation!!!

Okay, I admit - this was nothing but stupid. I wanted a perfect spot close to the beach and a picturesque site to relax over the weekend before driving to Windhoek to meet up with Jomar. As you can see, my sleeping arrangements the previous night was not levelled perfectly, so I had to rearrange a lot before being able to make the bed. On Saturday I will have to try to find people that are able to give me assistance because it didn't look very promising when inspecting the hole. There is also no anchoring points for the winch, as it is sand sand sand. The thing is, its pretty far from the main road and its not very much traffic in this area either. If only the cell phone would have worked, I could have called some friends in Windhoek to get a tractor or tow truck to come, its only 50 kilometres north of Swakopmond. Lets be positive and see this as a challenge, not a problem. Update on the situation will follow.
