11 March 2006 - Only a few days left before Tore heads north

On Monday the 13 March, Tore Auset will say goodbye to Betsy and myself and travel back to Norway. He will first go back to Johannesburg and spend a night there. Pick up some stuff from Ouma (Mabel) and do some serious shopping before he depart for Paris on Tuesday. The cold and frosty Trondheim will greet him on Wednesday where he will join his family after so many weeks apart. I am guessing that his evenings will be pretty busy, when he start sorting out more than 3000 pictures and kilometres of video film.

Cape2Cape continues without co passengers for a couple of weeks, before the next guest arrives. My uncle, Jomar Fjelnset from my village Kyrksæterøra (I know, that one is definitely not easy to pronounce) in Norway will join me for more than a month and we are meeting him in Luanda, Angola in the beginning of next month.

Looking very much forward to exploit his knowledge on vehicle maintenance and all sorts of helpful tips from him. I am still not happy with what Cape Town Land Rover did to Betsy, because she is still thirsty. Every second day, we need to give her a pint of water to keep her happy.
