South Africa, Tuesday 21 February 2006 - Back in South Africa after five magnificent days in Lesotho!

Lodging in Lesotho in it self was quite an experience. It varied from camping on top of Africa (almost), camping at 3200 meters above sea level, camping in the middle of Maseru (the capital) and camping at Chief Josefs property in the far south.

At Josephs land we had the pleasure of being treated with so much hospitality and friendliness by the people living in the village that I instantly wanted to buy land there. As we set up camp our neighbours came to see what we were doing and before we knew it the bravest of them surrounded Betsy and us and started to sing a good night song. If that is not hospitality, nothing is! The picture above shows some of the welcoming committee.  Read more about Lesotho here
