Entered into Sudan Friday 12 January 2007, through Kassala border post. After two days of paperwork to proceed into the country, we drove to Khartoum where I was meeting up with Erlend Vaag. We did a daytrip up to see the pyramids together with Abd Salam, Taha and good friends.

After ten days in Khartoum we left for Malakal with a short stop in a mud bank in Akoka (Dinka). We stayed in Malakal for 9 days because of waiting for spare parts and ferry to continue passed the river.
