Our last night in Djibouti, we found
a nice spot a few hundred meters from the Indian ocean.
Rolling stones from the the rocky hillside, caused by
some curious goats where the only signs of life since we
camped around 17.00 in the afternoon.

We fired up the gas stove and made
ourselves some sausages with delicious French baguettes
from a bakery in the city. |

The women at the Nor/Swe/Den
consulate did everything possible to make us feel "at
home". Mike Izza offered us a nice spot for Betsy and
me, Johan got (again) his own little room with air
condition, power points and toilet/shower. Lets just
say; this is how we would love to be welcomed by the
embassies throughout the rest of Africa.

Our translator and "secretary" helped
us with setting up a meeting with a child for the
bookproject, fixing visa for Eritrea and everything else
we wanted. Thanks a million to all the staff. |
