We have so far interviewed 38 children in 27 different countries (as per 19 July 2007) and we are sure that we have a very interesting start to this project already.

We are not picking the most vulnerable or funniest pupils that we encounter, more often than not, it is just a coincidence who we end up talking to.

We try to get them into talking about their family and friends, schools, villages and things they are concerned about and engaged in.

They are all amazing when it comes to acting in front of the camera and the photos are as important as the written text as we hope this would be some sort of a coffee table book portraying African children in different environments.

Another angle that we are working on is to make a school/education overview in all the African countries.

Time will reveal how and what will come out of all the talks and photos.
