12 year old Eva Richards is different from all the other children we have visited as she has been in school for only one year. She is now waiting to be enrolled into second grade together with her niece Gertrud (6). Due to a tragically start of her life, she lost the opportunity to get education and suffers greatly at the age of 12 with no formal stimulated education.

Eva is mostly inside the house together with her 4 siblings and you notice that she needs both supervision and an adult guidance. The days are spent in front of the television (when there is power) and she is rarely more than 50 meters away from the house.
