Selam G/Mariam attends Adolis Secondary School. The schoolfee is luckily only 30 US dollar a year, which is making it possible for three of the four kids to attend school. She lost her father three years ago and the unemployed mother is walking the streets during the day asking for money and food. When Selam finishes school, she also goes to the streets to get support for the rest of the family.

When she grows up, Selam wants to be an athlet. She has been watching Eritrean men and women on television and her dream is one day to be on those racing tracks.
